Achieve Believe Enjoy
Who are we?
We are Year Four and we are the oldest class in the school. We have lots of extra responsibilities and we help our teachers with jobs. We also take special care of the children in Reception class when they are playing in the playground, especially when they first start school.
Who teaches us?
Miss Foster teaches us on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning and Mrs Cairns teaches us on Wednesday afternoon, Thursday and Friday.
Miss Bowers is our teaching assistant.
Mr Palmeri provides additional support
In Year Four we begin to take more responsibility for our own learning and we try to work out how we learn best. We celebrate achievement in all areas and recognise that we are all unique and each of us has a special talent.
We look forward to many new challenges as the oldest children in school. In May, we visit Hawkhirst for our annual residential. This gives us the opportunity to try new experiences and work together.
Girls' Football Tournament
Year 4 girls attended Valley Gardens Middle School to take part in England Football and Barclays biggest EVER football session for girls in school. Young Leaders from Valley Gardens ran a carousel of engaging activities to celebrate fun, friendship and football.
"Can we do this every Wednesday Afternoon?" was the cry as we left.
